ASU West
encourage academic achievement among all Latino/a students through
the ˇSi Se Puede! Adelante con Educacion Edowed Scholarship Fund.
The title of the fund expresses vibrant optimism about learning,
essentially translated, "Yes, you can do it! Go forward/advance with
education."
Design to provide undergraduates with financial assistance, the fund
reflects the leadership of the ASU West Hispanic Society and the
Chicano Faculty Staff Association in advocating for the needs of
students. The fund was established through strong grassroots efforts
involving faculty, staff., students, and community members. We now
actively seek contributions from throughout the community to
continue building the fund.
A Promise
and a Challenge
ˇSi Se Puede! scholarship
will be offered to students who demonstrate potential for academic
success and leadership, while taking into consideration various
factors that contribute to diversity. The fund has been established
as an endowment to award scholarships year after year. We invite you
to celebrate education by supporting this innovative scholarship
fund and the ideals it upholds.
Additional Information
Funds will be deposited with the ASU Foundation, a separate
non-profit organization that exists for the benefit of all ASU
