Political Futures Through Science Fiction

 
 

Welcome to Political Futures Through Science Fiction. This course is intended to give you an understanding of the relationship between politics and science/speculative fiction. The course will primarily focus on the science/speculative fiction depiction of future possible worlds and will give particular attention to science/speculative fiction writing on political utopias, and dystopias. It will also highlight different stories, characters, and plots as ways of structuring the possibilities for political action.

This website will provide you with various course materials and internet resources which will be useful throughout the semester.
