On Halloween, author Alice McLerran came to our school to discuss story writing. The staff dressed up as book characters. Hey! There's Waldo! And I'm running like the wind on my trusty steed, Stick, all the way from Roxaboxen!

Payson Unified School District was the first to implement "Character Counts" district-wide. We marched at the state capital building and heard Govoner Hull's speech. Look, we made the evening news!
