AZCOTT Program Description

K-12 partner school districts create classrooms that become Arizona Classrooms of Tomorrow Today. The purpose of these classrooms is to provide models of technology integration where interns, student teachers and other teachers can observe technology being used effectively. Practicum PLUS participants are encouraged to visit these classrooms.

K-12 Model Technology Classrooms:

• Competitive selection of K-12 AZCOTT Teachers
• Design, implement, and publish Units of Practice (UOPs)
• Provide opportunities for ASU West preservice teacher observations
• Produce CD-ROM to showcase best practices and UOPs
  

Unit of Practice:

• Technology-rich, standards-based, cross-curricular units
• Derived from ACOT research
