Graduate Information
Graduates should take note of the following information regarding commencement and convocation ceremonies:
- All graduates must apply to graduate by October 16. Graduates must indicate on their graduation application if they plan to attend the Commencement, the Convocation or both.
- Graduates do not receive their diploma at the ceremony. Typically diplomas are received 8 - 10 weeks after all coursework has been submitted and approved.
- Graduates may apply to become a student speaker for their college, however speeches must be submitted by November 7.
- All graduate supplies such as rings, tassels, gown, and announcements are available at the ASU Bookstore.
Future Alumni
Congratulations on your achievement! As alumni, you are encouraged to maintain ties with your college and department through involvement in your alumni chapter. Opportunities include networking, career enrichment, speakers and entertainment events. Contact the ASU Alumni Association to learn more about how to stay connected with your alumni chapter or to join.
