ASU's West campus to host April 20 event

A Masters Open House will showcase graduate degree programs for prospective students from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 20 at Arizona State University's West campus.

The event, which is open to the public, offers prospective students an opportunity to meet advisors, faculty and current graduate students; ask questions about the programs and admission requirements; obtain application packets; and find out about financial aid.

Nine graduate degree programs offered at ASU’s West campus will be featured, including a Leadership MBA and advanced degrees in education; communication studies; criminal justice and criminology; and social work. Programs from the Tempe and East campuses also will be represented.

“ASU’s graduate studies provide students with opportunities to learn beyond their bachelor’s degree,” said Joan Brett, associate vice provost for graduate studies and academic programs. “The Masters Open House is a chance to explore the graduate degree programs ASU offers in one place during one evening in a fun atmosphere.”

The Masters Open House, which invites students to “drive their education further,” is sponsored by the Office of Graduate Studies and Academic Programs at ASU’s West campus. The event will be held in the University Center Building, La Sala, 4701 W. Thunderbird Rd., Phoenix.
