Verrado hosts ASU's spring lifelong learning classes

Registration begins Jan. 3
Arizona State University is offering classes and public lectures this spring through its lifelong learning program at Verrado in Buckeye. Registration begins Jan. 3 and is required prior to the start of class. A variety of classes will be offered, including:
- “Learn How to Construct a Web Page,” 7 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, starting Feb. 1 for four weeks
- “Conversational Spanish I,” 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursdays, starting Feb. 2 for six weeks
- “Liar, Liar Pants of Fire! Detecting Deception using Verbal and Non-verbal Cues,” 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday Feb. 7
- “Discipline Techniques for Kids of All Ages,” 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 21
- “Substitute Teacher Boot Camp: Learn to be a Substitute Teacher,” 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25
- “Interior Design: Creating the Right ‘Look’ for Your New Home,” 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, Mar. 13
- “Healthy Nutrition Across the Lifespan,” 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28
- “Conversational Spanish II,” 7 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, starting March 29 for six weeks
- “Star Gazing in Verrado,” 7:30 to 9 p.m., Saturday, April 8
- “Working with your child’s teacher,” 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 18
