'Arizona's farmworkers' talk honors Chávez, March 30

The life of César E. Chávez will be honored with a presentation by Melissa Rodis at 9 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, at ASU’s West campus.
Rodis, a staff attorney in the Community Legal Services Farmworker Program, represents migrant and seasonal farmworkers with employment law issues. Her presentation, “Arizona’s Farmworkers 2005: The Struggle Continues,” is sponsored by ASU’s Latino Events Committee, Chicano/a faculty and staff, the Hispanic Honor Society and the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Department of Ethnic Studies.
The event is free and open to the public.
The presentation is being held in the Delph Courtyard at ASU’s West campus, 4701 W. Thunderbird Rd., Phoenix. For more information, call (602) 543-6600.
