The life of César E. Chávez will be honored with a presentation by Melissa Rodis at 9 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, at ASU’s West campus.
Rodis, a staff attorney in the Community Legal Services Farmworker Program, represents migrant and seasonal farmworkers with employment law issues. Her presentation, “Arizona’s Farmworkers 2005: The Struggle Continues,” is sponsored by ASU’s Latino Events Committee, Chicano/a faculty and staff, the Hispanic Honor Society and the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Department of Ethnic Studies.
The event is free and open to the public.
