ASU faculty member signs new book at Borders March 25

Ramsey Eric Ramsey will be available at 7 p.m., March 25 to sign books and discuss his latest collaboration with Linda Wiener, "Leaving Us to Wonder: An Essay on the Questions Science Can't Ask," at the Borders bookstore in the Biltmore Fashion Park, 2402 E. Camelback Rd., Phoenix.

Ramsey is associate dean of the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University’s West campus. Wiener is an entomologist at St. John's College in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

"Leaving Us to Wonder" explores the larger social, political and philosophical contexts in which the current science vs. anti-science debates occur, serving as an introduction to the role philosophy can play in scientific inquiry.

Scientists who have read "Leaving Us to Wonder" have commented on the accessibility of the work. The work provides an interesting and practical journey into relevant philosophical dialogues on the limits of scientific inquiry and the meaning of living well.
