Native American Student Resources

Mission:

The mission of Native American Student Services is to assist Native American students to obtain a university education by providing recruitment and retention services and activities which facilitate their academic success and graduation from the university.

Services:

  • Help for students transitioning into the university, including academic, student and social support services.
  • Bridge activities with community college Native American Student Organizations and high school Native American education programs.
  • Collaboration and referrals to campus resources, departments, and student support programs.
  • Resources for university students, staff and faculty on Native American education and community issues.
  • Liaison with Native American tribes and Native American education programs.
  • Collaboration with community organizations and promotion of community involvement on and off campus.
